Feb 19, 2014 at 10:38am Quote I am searching for history on my great grandmother and her family. I have traced it back to her marriage to joseph Harvey and their 8 children, one of which was my grand father. The trail seems to stop there. All of my family except for 4 cousins are deceased (well my uncle is alive but he says he was hatched from an egg) Lol,I guess. I know Harriet's father was from France. I remember stories that my grandmother was French Indian and from the Lakota tribe. Her census in 1900 showed this and she was born in Wisconsin,in highland village. This is where the trail stops. I have even googled drauchman and found nothing. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Some time ago I let you all know what I am doing...well here it is. I am Wasu Duta, which means Red Hail...and I am a Govt. Rep for Sioux Nation Of Indians, Dahcotah Territory of 1868. Many won't get this at first but if you go to face book and type in Sioux Nation of Indians, you will. It took me some time to realize that I do not have to be an American...and so, I took it upon my self to assert the Treaty...I did go to the UN, United Nations to enter documentation for our new status as IGO...which is an Inter Governmental Organization...powerful...Actually I am under the Great Turtle Island Federation-IGO...listed in the UN as an Embassador, Sovereign if you will...very powerful. The main topic here is Treaty Indian...not Tribal. You see, one must be not a US citizen in order to assert the treaty as a sovereign...I put every thing to the test so far...in 1924 june 2nd. You were made or I should say granted citizenship by Congress during this time. Be fore that you could become a US citizen by marriage or through military or by receiving land patent. Now as for me I, I am no longer a US citizen...why you ask, because for the most part it was unlawful in the first place...look at the Sioux Nation of Indians page on face book...we are moving into a new path. The 1868 Treaty was a consolidation of all Sioux Treaties put in one...and it covers a 7 state area as country base, whats left after what the US Gov did to our people and the land they stole during that time...Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa...The land is this big left over...now when you view my source, some of this was hard to belive at first, but we are doing it now...moving forward in a good way...many Dakota, Nakota, Lakota...I hear are not able to enroll into their perspective tribes due to the US-TRIBAL Blood Quantum RULE...lol yeah, geez I wonder why that is, back in the day, you did not need the US to tell you you can't enroll in your tribe because you are not 1/4...BULL SHIT! If you are Dakota, Nakota, Lakota...and YOU WANT TO ENROLL AND BE PART OF YOUR PEOPLE, I WOULD GLADLY like for you to call me. 6054416964. Many are asking me to go to Sioux City to help others...they are being rejected by tribal policy and not being able to enroll...if you can prove your family blood line...and are very likely Native, and was denied enrollment with A Tribe you tried to enroll with...and things did not work out for you like you wanted...call me and lets talk...I want to bring the Oyate home! For right now I recommend looking at my page on facebook, you can view and decide enrollment from that point...which can be dual citizenship, because I know many are depending on Social Security...and I know it is needed... So I am here my oyate, I am here for you...also, I like to add this is for our future, and for our children s future as well, very important... Wasu Duta/[JAMIE FRANCO] I am Dakota. I am the first in over 140 years + that has ever did this...I am the first Sovereign of the Dahcotah Territory of 1868...Google sovereign and look at the definition. Also on Face Book you can find me on there as Wasu Duta...the other name is not my name because I am not AMERICAN...I am Dakota. We are working on BIG THINGS! Sioux Nation of Indians, Govt. Rep (Dakota, Nakota, Lakota) Sioux Country www.facebook.com/SiouxNationOfIndians605-441-6964

That is total major disrespect...taking your relatives family's land like that. If you have the original land patent and or deed to that land and can prove it...you could file a suit on them to the Federal court of claims...supreme court...get all the names of the people there on site and name of company and who authorized it and so on and file suit...my solution...hope this helps...

There is a way and we are working on this right now...DD is right about this...but there is a process that has to be followed...1. you need your ID, 2. You need your Documents-Certified Treaty Documents, 3. Map of said area...4. Defect to that Treaty land pertaining to the map of your treaty...5. Relinquishment tribal status and land...there is more, but that is all I have for now. The Sioux Nation of Indians is under way...in the works. Things to consider, do you enjoy living and being a US cit? Well this is ok too, for you...but you can be under your own Nation...we were viewed back in the day as diplomats...so we were dealt with as foreigners...in our own country...US only legally owns 18 to 35 acres of land in Minnesota and that is it...Sioux Nation of Indians is covering Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, all of South Dakota, and part of Wyoming...I am a Gov. Rep for the Sioux Nation of Indians...so I know this. Supreme law of the land states that all judges are bound to the treaty laws...so we are moving in this direction to assert our treaties and repatriate back to our treaties...SIoux Nation of Indians is done, it has been Ratified and it is the Dakota Territory of 1868...I been on this for a year with others...No one can use the name Sioux Nation of Indians with members already in place...that part is done. All Sioux Indians are welcome to come home now, if you like. You can contact me for details...@ 6054416964. I am a Dahcotah Rep...there is other reps for your own people...wether it be Dahcotah...Lakota- Ogalllala, Nakota...Cherrokee..or what have ya...I will not lie to you, this is in affect and it is being processed.

Here is the thing...Call your IMM account holder at your tribe. Confirm your account is open. Get a Unumber of if different number they should provide it for you...now call Cobell 1800-961-6109 and wait to talk to customer service rep...she will ask name, address, last 4 digits of your ss#, U number you have...ok, at this point they put you on hold for a minute or so and then come back, tell you you are elegible or not...if not you may appeal it they will offer you option to do this...pay attention to what they tell you...very important!
