He wore his fatigues in honor of his grandpa, a WWII army airforce sargeant, who called him Mato Cistina a name as he grows, he says will be changed to Ohitika because when he is BIG, he is sure he will be big enough to push over trees "and stuff"...

Here are some tombstone pictures of various descendants of the Trudell family. Lyle and Mildred (Emery) Hoobler. Mildred was the daughter of Samuel Emery and Hattie Trudell. This is from the Elmwood Cemetery, Grayling, Crawford County, Michigan. ___________________________________ Ralph and Josette Christine (Trudell) Hawkins. She was the daughter of Levi Trudell and Emily Colombe. This is from the Mountain View Cemetery, Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. _____________________________________ The following are from St. Mary's of Hannah Catholic Church Cemetery, Kingsley, Grand Traverse County, Michigan: Hattie (Trudell) Emery Dion, daughter of Levi Trudell and Emily Colombe. John Dion, son of Oliver Dion and Susan Langdeau. Phoebe (Emery) Stickel, daughter of Samuel Emery and Hattie Trudell. (Pardon my feet). Arthur Stickel, Phoebe's husband. He was not an Indian. Samuel Justus Emery, son of William Zenil Emery and Adell Langdeau. James C. and Fern Winona (Emery) Moulton. Fern was the daughter of Samuel Emery and Hattie Trudell.

Richard "Dick" Emery. He was the son of Roger Morrison and Fern Emery. Dick was born to Fern out of wedlock, and he was adopted by her parents, Samuel Emery and Hattie Trudell. He did not find out who his real parents were until he joined the Navy and saw his birth certificate. This is from the Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Harrison County, Mississippi. ______________________________________ Benjamin Leedom and Florence Rachel (Trudell) Leedom. Florence was the daughter of Louis Trudell and Nellie May Jones. This is in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, Homer, Dakota County, Nebraska. _____________________________________ Antoine William Trudell, son of John Edward Trudell and Cecilia Bernice Dooley. This is in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. ________________________________________ Harold and Gladys Mae (Frazier) Taylor. Gladys was the daughter of Earlwin Frazier and Emily Jane Trudell. This is in the Tracy Public Cemetery, Tracy, San Joaquin County, California.

Lyle A. Henry and Philomene Beatrice Sully. Lyle was the son of John Lamar Henry and Jeannette "Jenny" Nancy Trudell. These are in the Logan Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa. _______________________________________________ Violet Theo (Frazier) Carlson and her husband Donald Carlson. Violet was the daughter of Earlwin Frazier and Emily Jane Trudell. These tombstones are in the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens, Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Michigan. ______________________________________________ Ada Louise (Trudell) McMillin. Jimmy: We grew up with some Leedoms on the South bottoms in Sioux city. Could she be related to them, I wonder? Ond of the Leedom boys got sent to prison for murder.I can't remember her name though.
